Ray grew up just outside London in the UK and has played soccer (or more correctly spelled football!) most of his life. He moved with his family to Black Mountain in 2006 and joined the ABASA board in 2015. He is also a District Coordinator for ABYSA and has been coaching in the Asheville and Black Mountain youth soccer leagues for the past 10 years. He has two sons aged 18 and 16 who are both very keen soccer players and himself plays in both Over 40 and Open divisions for the Watershed Soccer Club!
